NAEYC ACCREDITED: St. Therese Early Education Center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) through May 2014. The NAEYC is dedicated to improving the well-being of all young children, with particular focus on the quality of educational and developmental services for all children from birth through age 8. NAEYC is committed to becoming an increasingly high performing and inclusive organization. Founded in 1926, it is the world's largest organization working on behalf of young children with nearly 100,000 members, a national network of over 300 local, state, and regional Affiliates, and a growing global alliance of like-minded organizations. For more information about the NAEYC please contact their website: www.naeyc.org.
ST. THERESE EARLY EDUCATION CENTER FAMILY HANDBOOK: The St. Therese EEC Family Handbook is designed to share information with our families and members of the community about the work we undertake at St. Therese EEC. This is a great place for you to start to learn about our center, our mission, our philosophy and our goals for your children. A special section is devoted to each program offered within the center.
| HOW DO FAMILIES STAY CONNECTED? Each fall our families spend one evening together. The event for 2009-2010 was a Hoe-Down at the STS Corral. Our families had dinner together and the children were able to participate in carnival games including a Little Red Wagon Hayride and a special guest appearance by Elsie the Cow.

NEWSLETTERS: Our newsletters are emailed to participants each month throughout the year. If you would like to be added to the list of recipients, please contact us. We hope to include the newsletters on this website in the future.
FUNDRAISING: During the year we have two fundraising events. The first is Family Fun Night in October of each year. The second is a Trike-a-thon each May. During the trike-a-thon our children are active participants in raising money for the center. Look for your chance to pledge your favorite trike rider!
ST. THERESE EARLY EDUCATION CENTER REGISTRATION: We register children throughout the year to attend the early education center and provide several options for our children and families. If you are interested in attending the center and are unsure of program space availability, please contact us. We do maintain a waitlist and will contact you when a space becomes available for your child. Annually, we will conduct registration for the upcoming school year in February. Please plan on registering in February and March 2010 for spaces beginning August 2010.
ST. THERESE EARLY EDUCATION CENTER SUMMER PROGRAM: Some of the programs we offer are available twelve months a year. Registration for the summer program occurs in March. This program involves field trips, swimming lessons, library visits and park explorations for children over 4 years of age. Children under four have special programs at the center. The first week of our summer program includes attendance at Vacation Bible School. The scheduled field trips and registration information will be available in late February.
